IT specialist

We expect from you to be: We expect from you to:

  • Responsible for the overall functionality and operation of the company’s operating systems;
  • Install and configure hardware and software systems;
  • Responsible for the helpdesk support of the company’s systems;
  • Responsible for keeping the company’s IT security standards and optimization of all functions directly related to the operating system;
  • Document accordingly IT process and systems configurations and updates;
  • Monitor the system status and inform the line manager about any discrepancies; to detect eventual need for configuration changes or upgrade of specific modules;
  • Constantly investigate, evaluate and apply cutting-edge IT technologies within the company sector;
  • Prepares reports on demand for the performed tasks, as well as any work related issues;
  • Proactively identifies IT related problems, makes analysis and provides solutions.

You need to have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the IT end user support field
  • Strong Windows client troubleshooting skills (Windows 7, 8.1 or 10)
  • Strong Windows Server troubleshooting skills (Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008)
  • Good understanding of networking basics like DHCP, DNS, Firewall, IP subnetting, NAT, Wi-Fi technologies
  • SSL and IPSec VPNs
  • Routing and switching, understandings of network architecture
  • Good hardware knowledge
  • Reasonably good HTML/PHP experience needed to support web page of the company
  • Fluency in English
  • Good communication skills
  • Be the active part of the daily IT support tasks which includes (but not limited to): replacing computer hardware parts (RAM, Fan, HDD), fixing network connectivity issues, fixing printer connectivity and availability, replacing computer peripherals
  • Understanding of Microsoft and Cisco industry certifications will be considered an advantage
  • Basic troubleshooting experience for Cisco products
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, WSUS)
  • Manage user and computer accounts in a Microsoft Active Directory environment


  • Software Applications: MS Office 2010, MS Office 2013, MS Excel;
  • Windows understanding;
  • Understanding of ERP systems and Fidelio in particular
  • Understanding of basic security methods and rules;
  • Understanding of backup methods and rules;
  • Experience with Virtualization technologies (VMWare ESX Server) will be considered an advantage
  • Basic troubleshooting experience for VMWare products;
